Including the medieval garderobe tower (finest collection of medieval latrines), the restored rooftop Chapel, built in the memory of Cadwallader Bates, and stunning views of Hadrian’s Wall and the surrounding countryside from the rooftop battlements.

Built in 1350 by Sir Thomas de Lucy, Langley Castle retains its historic charm and architecture but provided all the comforts of the 21st century. The castle’s seven-foot-thick walls guarantee a tranquil refuge and a perfect escape to the country. It is in effect your very own personal getaway.
Tours of the battlements are available daily at 10.15am. Adults are admitted at a charge of £4.95 there is no charge for children. Booking is necessary and subject to availability. Please allow 30 minutes for the tour and enjoy some time at your leisure in the castle and grounds.
