Taking over the whole of Langley Castle is not just an option for happy couples planning a wedding in Northumberland, but also a private-hire, entire castle-to-yourself opportunity, if you are having a family celebration or a business event.
The components are naturally different from those of an exclusive-use wedding but are just as appealing, with 25 guest rooms at your group’s disposal, both inside our most authentic of English castles and without.
During your exclusive period of time within our unique castle, you will enjoy an afternoon tea, champagne cocktail reception, canapés, six-course gourmet meal, half-a-bottle of wine per person, a glass of Prosecco and our unique hospitality and ambience, from as little as £13,000, including all accommodation. Whether you then wish to charge your guests for their room, to recoup some of the cost, is entirely up to you. And, if you wish to add extras, such as a tour, or a bushcraft experience, you can leave it to us to present you with options.
Baby Showers
The excitement of planning the arrival of a new baby and ‘unboxing’ gifts is one we often hear at Langley Castle, as squeals of delight fill our contemporary Glass Pavilion – a perfect and private location for a girly event and lots of fun and laughter that will disturb nobody. These events are extremely popular at our unique venue, so enquire today and let us make yours very special.
Baby Naming Ceremonies
There’s something reassuring and just ‘right’ about staging a baby naming ceremony at our authentic English castle, giving a child a fabulous start in life and creating some fantastic pictures for the little one’s family album. The fact that we have our own private chapel on our magnificent battlements is often even more appealing to parents, especially as this can accommodate up to 30 guests.
Fear not, if your group is larger, as we can also offer you our chandeliered drawing room or our Josephine’s restaurant for your event, arranging things to suit you and your party.
Renewal of Vows
Special marriage milestones demand a special venue in which to mark them and our magnificent, truly English, 14th century castle is peerless in this respect.
Confirming your love within walls that have also stood the test of time is truly fitting and wholly appropriate, adding additional meaning and a unique ambience to your vow renewals. Whether the occasion is to be vibrant and celebrated by a whole heap of people sharing your renewal of vows event, or truly intimate and just about the two of you, we can make it as special as the occasion deserves.
