Andrew Donaldson

Andrew was born in North Shields, Tyne & Wear.  His 20 year career in the Industry has seen him work his way through different positions and restaurants in the region - amassing a wealth of experience.

He started his career as a part-time waiter at the Park Hotel, Tynemouth where he met his wife Jane. After 4 years, he took the role as Chef de Rang at the Moat House Group.  Another 4 years later, he proceeded to move into the hotel restaurant industry where he took up the role as station head waiter at the Swallow Group, at Gosforth Park where he began to learn his fine dining craft.

His keen interest in management privided him with the natural progression to Restaurant Manager.  He has worked in this role at numerous hotels including Hilton Newcastle, Menzies Newcastle, Vermont Hotel Newcastle and Matfen Hall.  This experience saw him develop an array of skills and experience that he utilises daily.

In 2009, he took the position at langley Castle as Restaurant Manager which sees him managing the smooth operation of the Josephine Restaurant.

Andrew continues to live in North Shields with his wife Jane and daughter Laura.  Andrews main interest outside of work is road cycling and he is a member of North Tyneside Riders which often sees him cycling around Northumberland.
